PUBLIC RELATIONS STRATEGY

For my Public Relations Planning and Strategy class, we worked with a local café to devise a comprehensive, 20-page PR strategy based on our semester-long research. I was assigned to the role of "copywriter," but in reality, we all collaborated equally on a range of tasks from assignment to assignment during our weekly project meetings. This resulted in a much more in-depth understanding of my client and its unique needs, which ultimately allowed me to strategize more effectively.

 

Main items included in this booklet are the stakeholder, SWOT, competition and audience analyses, key messages, and a description of our objectives, strategies, goals and tactics. Key items I contributed to include (but aren't limited to) the mission, vision and values, social media audit, competitive analysis, and objectives, strategies and tactics.
